Join us for a Parent Meeting on Monday, December 1st from 5:30–6:30 PM at the District Office Board Room (1 N. Willard, Cottonwood).
This meeting is not required, but families who attend will be able to enroll for camp at the meeting. Come with your questions and learn about our district’s amazing partnership with the historic Mingus Mountain Camp and Retreat Center.
District-wide enrollment opens Tuesday, December 2nd.
As with last year, a non-refundable $25 t-shirt payment will be due at registration.
We are always grateful for wonderful parent volunteers. Please remember that all volunteers must be cleared through Human Resources and have a valid IVP card on file.
We cannot wait for our 3rd annual Winter Camp at Mingus Mountain.
We’ll see everyone OFF GRID! 🌲❄️

Lobos, updated bus route start/stop times are on the district website. Check your route before tomorrow. Thank you.
Cottonwood Community School held its annual Title I Night yesterday evening! 📚✨
Families enjoyed a brief presentation about the Title I program and the academic interventions CCS offers to support students. Afterward, everyone gathered for dinner 🍽️ and a lively round of BINGO! 🎉 Students won board and card games 🎲🃏 they can take home and enjoy with their families. It was a wonderful night filled with laughter and excitement! 😄💛 A big thank-you to Sodexo for generously providing the dinner! 🙌🍴

Chocolate Chip for the Win!
Yesterday, the kindergarteners at Cottonwood Community School explored the importance of voting! They cast their votes for their favorite cookie and discovered that chocolate chip is the class favorite. 🍪✅

Principal Heather Langley from Mountain View Prep is proudly sporting her Yavapai County “I VOTED” sticker today! 🗳️ Have you turned in your ballot yet? There’s still time!
If you haven’t already mailed it, be sure to drop off your ballot for the Cottonwood-Oak Creek and Mingus Union High School Special Override Election at the Yavapai County Administration Building, 10 S. 6th St., Cottonwood — today!
Every vote matters for our schools and community. ✅

🏐 Congratulations to the Cottonwood Community School Lady Lobos Volleyball Team! 🏆
The Lady Lobos brought home the Verde Valley League Championship last weekend after a hard-fought battle against a very talented Mountain View Prep team — and came out on top!
We are so proud of their determination, perseverance, and grit throughout the season.
👏 Special congratulations to Cora Kenley and Aaliyah Tobas Cazarez for being named to the All-Tournament Team, and to Khloe Rosenkranz for earning MVP Hitter honors!
It was truly a great day to be a Lobo! 🐺❤️
