Erin Leckington

Erin Leckington is a wife, mom, and educator with 24 years of experience. A proud graduate of Vanguard University of Southern California, she began her career in the South Whittier School District, where she worked with a diverse, inner-city student population as a K-2 teacher. Over the years, she has held various leadership roles, including a Trainer and Cognitive Coach for Branching Out Educational Consultants, as well as Instructional Coach at Camp Verde Elementary School before stepping into the Assistant Principal role at Cottonwood Community School. Mrs. Leckington is committed to promoting a positive, student-centered school culture where all students feel valued and supported. Inspired by the wisdom of Mother Teresa, who famously said, “There are no great things, only small things with great love,” she knows that even the smallest act, when done with genuine care, can have a profound impact. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes the importance of collaboration, continuous improvement, and fostering meaningful relationships within the school community. Outside of school, Mrs. Leckington enjoys spending time with friends, dreaming about her next beach vacation, shopping, and going on adventures with her family and needy Frenchie.
